To further develop strokes technique and racing skills whilst improving fitness and work ethics. Competing at a State level, targeting multiple State qualifying times. This program will begin to establish a sound physiological base for future training. There will be a strong emphasis on all four strokes coming from a background of sound skill execution.

Health & Injury Management
With the training load swimmers in this squad undertake, swimmers will be required to undergo physio screenings, blood tests and health information sessions in order assist with maintaining a healthy, injury free body.
Equipment swimmers will require are flippers, goggles (plus a spare pair), kickboard, pool buoy, paddles, band, swim costume & cap. We ask swimmers to be at training 15min prior to the commencement time, for activation/ dryland activities and be ready to dive in on time
Squad fees do not include entry fee to the Aquapulse complex in Hoppers Crossing. More information about casual entry,

Terms & Conditions
Fees are calculated on an annual basis, paid by 12 monthly instalments on the first of each month and includes an allowance for prescribed squad breaks in the fee structure at specified times during the year
Fees are due and payable on the 1st of the month and in advance
Fees overdue by 14 days or more will lead to the exclusion of your child/children from squad training
Family discount - 5% for two or more squad members
Suspension of Fees: Squad fees may be suspended where squad member’s illness/ or injury or is travelling overseas for a minimum of three consecutive weeks results in an inability to train. A medical certificate would be required for injury or sickness. As an allowance is made for squad breaks in fee calculation, squad break periods cannot be included in the minimum three consecutive weeks’ absence required for fee suspension
There are no make-up classes
Club membership is renewed annually on July 1 and includes registration to Swimming Victoria. Swimmers aged 15 and under, require that at least one parent also joins the Club.
Resignations from the squads must be in writing to the Club’s treasurer and must give two weeks notice
Laverton Swimming Club reserves the right to change, modify or update the terms and conditions, criteria, training times and location relating to your squad membership. Any such changes will be made with reasonable notice however sometimes these may have to be altered at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Check our website for latest changes.
